How to Design a Trip

Trip Planning Process

  • Initial contact made with Little Brown Kiwi.
  • Trip leader/coordinator identified.
  • Planning and design stage (Itineraries and prices provided to schools).
  • Itinerary decided upon.
  • Little Brown Kiwi provides promotional material for students/parents/assembly.
  • Numbers are confirmed and deposit is paid.
  • All school compliance details and all LBK safety systems are completed and supplied to the school.
  • School contacts LBK with any medical/dietary information as well as other relevant details with regard to student safety.
  • Enjoy the New Zealand adventure education experience of a lifetime!

Every Little Brown Kiwi experience is an individualised programme, designed to meet the needs, goals and aspirations of your school. The easiest way for you to design a trip is to make contact with Little Brown Kiwi and give us an idea of your vision for your New Zealand Adventure. You could look through the feature trips on offer, you could browse the itineraries we have offered in the past, or you could just give us a call or email and tell us what you really want to do.

Once we have the general idea, our experienced, ‘road-tested’ itinerary design team will put together 2-3 itineraries for you to think about before making the final decision. We are with you the whole way and are as involved in the design stage as much as you want us to be.

Good luck!
