C.A.S.

Little Brown Kiwi is the leading provider of New Zealand-based C.A.S. (Creativity, Action and Service) programmes, for IB World Schools. Due to association with a variety of IB (International Baccalaureate) programmes for many years, Little Brown Kiwi understands the importance of a successful and meaningful C.A.S. programme and the personal growth that can result.

Little Brown Kiwi staff have collaborated with leading IB teachers from around the world to design New Zealand C.A.S. programmes that “Open Eyes, Open Minds and Open Hearts”. The experiences we design exceed the requirements of the IB C.A.S. guidelines.

New Zealand CAS programmes – limited only by your imagination

One of the great strengths of the International Baccalaureate C.A.S. programme is that it is very flexible.

The IBO (1996) states that: “All the portions (Creativity, Action, and Service) are vaguely defined and should, according to the IBO, be interpreted as imaginatively as possible, so that a wide array of different activities can qualify for C.A.S.”

Little Brown Kiwi is a very imaginative company and has come up with a wide range of choices for relevant, challenging and exciting C.A.S. experiences. Little Brown Kiwi is committed to designing and delivering C.A.S. programmes for your specific schools needs, and your students’ dreams.

Little Brown Kiwi is committed to the IB Learner profile which aims to: “Develop internationally-minded people who recognise our common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, made possible through a worldwide learning community.”

We are proud of the role we play as educators and supporters of this mission and truly believe that New Zealand is a spectacular environment for students to realise and work towards fulfilling the IB Learner Profile.
